Long ago our dream began. At that time it was something different to be done, but it didn't depend on us.We always heard that when one of us wish something strongly , with faith, loveand optimism nothing is imposible.Today after those wonderful years we have 25 little faces that show us everyday that everything is possible.

We want to thank go because he had given us his help that we needed at that moment when we wanted to start our project and to our family because they supported us and their integration from their souls and our mother who made our work easier.

Our thanks to our acquaintances people that work with us, we work all togetherfor the same aim: help.

Thanks to everybody because if you are reading this now it means that something about us interests you, but we want to thanks from our heart to our children because they have been teaching us since the day they arrived here with their fearful and mistrustful faces. Our children are giving us all their love with their goals and the phrases that they written and for the first time. Their smiles that are the most valuable thing of the world and with this same faith, love and optimism, they are going to make their dreams real.

WHAT IS PIMPINELA'S HOME? (HOGAR PIMPINELA PARA LA NIÑEZ)

The home develops its activity in a house donated by the government of the Province of Buenos Aires with a surface of 170 free m and 360 covered Meters, there are bedrooms, gallery, living, dining room, areas of recreation, infirmary, kitchen, coarts garden, deposits, administrative
sectors and services. Nowadays 25 children between 1 and 15 years of age live there. This group is formed in turn by brothers of different families. they all are derived by the provincial council of the minor and the family of the province of Buenos Aires.

OBJECTIVES OF PIMPINELA'S HOME

Since it opened its doors, in the month of July of the year 1996, the objectives of the home has always been the same one, to give an attention completely personalized to each of the needs of the 25 children who as maximum live there.
The home is their house, their refuge and their containment, all those who there work, they do it with the only purpose, to form good persons capable of creating in a future their own families beyond their personal experiences and traumatic past.
It was never only to give them a good plate of meal and
clean clothes, the teaching professionals and the technical team that work there to give them not only their knowledge but the whole love, the safety and the affection that the majority of them never felt for many reasons.

TASK THAT ARE DEVELOPED BY THE HOME

• RELATE WITH THE FAMILIES OF ORIGIN

We understand the enormous importance that it means for the child his Relation with his family of origin, beyond the conflicts that this presents. In the cases that the home has knowledge of who their parents are through the reports the corresponding courts send us , we begin to work also with the family, our psychologists, who attend each of the meetings of the parents with their children at the home, which allow them to be internalized of which they are their difficulties, if they exist between the father or mother with every child and to work this way with both parts. For those
parents whose have inconvenient to visit their children is the economic one, the home gives them travel allowances which help them to move from their address to where their children are. Also in many occasions they are delivered basket with food to take it to their address.

• SCHOOLING

The children who live at the pimpinela's home go to their respective schools, kindergartens or maternal garden if it needed due to their age. The election of the school is done according to the needs and capacity of every child. the director or the teacher who is in charge goes to every meeting school. We accompany them in the acts of native dates, end of courses, days, etc. The children will never feel differences with their privates teacher who guides and helps them with his tasks. There is also a psicopedagoga who attends them individually in her house and woks with the child with his modern systems of computation.

• SOCIABILIZATION AND RECREATION

It is very important for every child, to be related with the "outside”. so from the home one works to give them the means and stimulus, so in this way they can relate to their environment out the home. Every birthday of every child it is celebrated at the home and all the partners of their class are invited and they go to other birthday parties. They go out, they visit museums, concerts, shows, infantile spectacles, colonies of vacation ,sport practice and everything that allows their psychomotor development and their relation with their pairs.

• GO AWAY FOR ADOPTION

Our commitment with every child who is part of the home does not end the day that for under circumstance he goes out of it. in these years, more than 40 children have gone in adoption with completely successful results to the adoptive family and the child, which we know does not happen frequently. The home, it continues in permanent contact with the child and "his family", putting at his disposal the technical specializing personnel to accompany all in these , so special occasions. The gone away children more than once come the weekends to visit other children of the home that means an enormous satisfaction. For thosechildren who do not have any possibility of returning with their family of origin, from the home we are permanently on the courts to accelerate the possibility of an adoption and this way to give to the children the possibility of growing in a different environment

WE ARE A GREAT FAMILY

We have treated that the children do not feel lonely since the home was opened, every Christmas or new year, they are distributed in our families sharing with us the feeling of these dates, remaining the home closed. They are like our children, to whom we give love, safety, containment, but also the necessary limits for their growth. This goes beyond a few letters on a paper. Any person that visits us can prove it by himself that what we live with them is not easy to explain, only it is necessary to feel it, especially to enjoy it.
